SOT® Methods
SOT® stands for Sacro Occipital Technic®. This unique approach combines the principles of Chiropractic and Osteopathy, utilizing low force manual therapies and indicator systems to identify areas of imbalance through a network of neurological markers. At Tuscaloosa Chiropractic, SOT® treatments aim to harmonize the sacrum with the cranium, effectively addressing the entire body. Our practitioner provides focused care in cranial therapy, organ balancing, and extremity balancing, which includes treatment for arms, ribs, knees, and feet. Craniopathy
Cranial adjustments utilize VERY light force touch, achieving corrections by simply holding light pressure in the areas of the head and face. These elements are clinically correlated to the motion of individual bones in the cranium. Each bone has unique functions and movement patterns, just as the parts of the brain they protect do.
